Re: “HOT-KOTE” anti-fouling propeller coating on “BIG BUCK”
Dear Mr. Franklin,
Just a note to tell you how great “HOT-KOTE” anti-fouling propeller coating has performed on “BIG BUCK”, my custom 44 ft sportfish. The two 26” 4 blade wheels have now been coated with “HOT-KOTE” for the third time. The first time, the coating lasted for 24 months …and the second time, it was still going strong after 26 months. That’s 50 months of really impressive anti-fouling performance. This third time around, you’ve applied “HOT-KOTE-36” for even longer lasting anti-fouling service… and, like all your products, it’s GUARANTEED!
I’m a long time boater who’s always skeptical of any product until I’m personally convinced that it works. So, it’s my pleasure to let you know that “HOT-KOTE” anti-fouling propeller coating has actually exceeded my expectations. “HOT-KOTE” stays put… even while my two 630 hp diesels push “BIG BUCK” more than 30 knots. Also, this past year, “HOT-KOTE” performed very well while “BIG BUCK” just sat at my dock without moving (unfortunately) for nine straight months. And then, without cleaning the wheels, I drove “BIG BUCK” to the marina for fresh bottom paint. On the way, I was surprised to see that the shafts were turning within 100 rpm of normal. So, I knew the wheels couldn’t have much growth on them. On inspection at the yard, I noticed the wheels had just a little slime and very few barnacles. Now, that’s really terrific anti-fouling performance… way better than any other propeller coating I’ve ever tried… better than even the most expensive propeller coatings.
I’m sold on this great product and I’d be glad to spread the word around here. So, if you’ll send me a few flyers and a sample of the coating, I’ll tell all our big boat owners about “HOT-KOTE”. It’s the long awaited solution to the problem of propeller fouling.
